Who I Am and What I Do

My names Laura, I’ve been a fully qualified Holistic Therapist since February 2020.

I trained in Swedish massage, aromatherapy and reflexology and since did further study and qualified in advanced deep tissue massage, Indian head massage, myofascial release therapy, holistic facials, and hormone balancing therapy. 

I specialise in aromatherapy, as I discovered a huge interest and passion in this since qualifying as an aromatherapist in February 2020. I use aromatherapy for the majority of my treatments where I make blends specifically to suit each one of my clients, whether it's for stress, arthritis, pain, headaches.

I also sell aromatherapy products and host aromatherapy workshops every other month, so people can learn how to use aromatherapy at home safely.

For years I worked as a building manager which I never felt happy in, I knew I wanted a job that genuinely felt like I was helping people on another level.

This is where I found a course in complementary therapies and the rest followed.

I’m passionate about helping others and helping them feel their best selves. Willow Tree is about feeling good about yourself, being kind to yourself and giving yourself that time that the body and mind needs in order to minimize stress and feel our best selves. 

I've had my own mental health struggles, this experience helps me to understand my clients on a deeper level and gives me that motivation to help as much as I possibly can.

 

My treatments are specifically tailored to the needs of each client to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them.

Willow Tree Therapies started in 2020, and is based in Shaw in a beautiful treatment room that was put together with nature in mind. The treatment room is a cabin, covered in foliage, colour, boho themed decor and fairy lights. The environment is a huge part of Willow Tree Therapies as this sets the tone for its unique and relaxing treatments.

As well as being a complementary therapist, I am a very proud mum to my beautiful daughter. She's my drive in everything I do. I use complementary therapies at home to be my best self, for myself and for her.
